Plan Your Trip for Two
The way we plan every trip together, in seven calm steps: from the wishlist on the fridge to two carry-ons by the door. Save it, share it with your person, and tick it off together.

Dream it together
Every trip starts on the sofa with two phones and one shared note. Each of you adds three places, then you circle the overlap. That overlap is your trip.

Flights & points
Book flights before anything else. They decide your dates, and the right fare (or the right points redemption) can turn economy into two seats up front.
Two rules for couples: book both seats on one booking so a schedule change can't split you up, and pick your seats the moment you book.

The stay
This is where we spend. A room with a view and somewhere to sit outside together does more for a trip than anything else on the list.
Before you book, read the reviews from couples: they'll tell you about the bed, the noise, and whether the “sea view” is real.

Experiences
Pick one “big” experience per stop and leave the rest of the day open. For us in Greece that was a private boat day in Paros and a small-group mythology tour of the Acropolis.
Book timed museum tickets early. The Acropolis Museum, the Louvre and the Vatican sell out in high season.

One itinerary, shared with your partner
We use TripIt to keep both our itineraries in one place. Forward every confirmation (flights, hotels, tours, ferries) to TripIt and it builds the plan for you. Then share the trip with your partner, so you both see the same thing and nobody is hunting through emails at the gate.
Our habit: whoever books, forwards. Every time, straight away.

eSIM, insurance & transfers
The unglamorous three that make a trip feel effortless. Sort them the week before you fly.
Insurance note: read the policy wording before you buy. We're travelers, not insurance advisers.

Pack carry-on only, each your own bag
Our favourite rule: one carry-on each. No checked bags, no waiting at the carousel, and nobody carrying the other person's shoes. We travel with our BÉIS carry-on rollers (one beige, one black, so there's never a mix-up at the gate) and the BÉIS Weekender as our shared extra.
